Grafini herself had a stunning fleece as a youngster and was in the Silverstream show team. Sadly she has never placed as she has an undershoot jaw. This has never affected her health. She has never passed this trait on to any of her progeny and we have never seen any other progeny from her Sire or Dam with this trait.

Grafini’s sire, Silverstream Czar is the only alpaca in NZ to win Champion Animal of Show at the NZ Royal. A half share in Czar was sold to England for NZD$60,000. He is now one of the most recognized working males in Europe.

Grafini comes from a highly fertile line in our herd. Her mother has given us 12 cria and is still going strong. Grafini has never had any health issues and maintains a healthy body score throughout the year.

Grafini does come from quite strong white lines and four of her five progeny have been solid white.

DESCRIPTION

Silverstream Impala has retained a relatively fine fleece for her age - 22 micron on her eight fleece is quite impressive. The fleece still grows a good length is lustrous and relatively free of guard hair.

Impala is a Peruvian Hemingway grand daughter and her genetics include Purumbete Inti, Cedar House Brave Heart and Benleigh Highland Lass.

She has been mated to Silverstream Infinity, our premier fawn stud herd sire. Her next cria is eagerly awaited.

Here is another good quality Silverstream female. Koo Star has Jolimont Warrior genetics from her sire and her dam. Snowflake has produced six female and one male cria. Koo Star has a dense fleece that is bright and has an even crimp style.

The high comfort factor (99%) is evidence of a soft handling fleece.

She is a quiet, easy to handle female who has good conformation, good teeth and no problem with her eyes.

Silverstream Kowtow is a fantastic young female that we were reluctant to sell. She is an attractive young female with a friendly manner. The fleece is very fine and lustrous with excellent density.

DESCRIPTION

It was hard to put this girl on the market with such an impressive show record.
In ten show appearances she was placed first ten times with one second placing.
Add to this, eight age group championships and two colour championships and you just know you have a very special animal.
Minaret pumps out a large fleece that has excellent length of staple, good crimp definition and good consistency throughout the fleece. She has excellent conformation and great presence.

Silverstream Narcissus is by our multi supreme champion stud male, Silverstream Infinity. Infinity passes onto his progeny beautiful heads, good substance of bone, great frame and a presence in the field that commands attention.

The dam Princess Adelaide was imported from NSW in Australia. She is by the highly regarded Cedar House Braveheart and has produced three cria that have been in the Silverstream show team..

Silverstream Natasia is the product of two elite parents. Ice Master ET, the sire is a multiple supreme champion with genetics from the highly regarded Western Australian stud, Banksia Park.
Eringa Park Tessane, the dam is by NWA Ruffo, a stud male imported into Australia for US$450,000. Six of Tessane’s progeny have been in the Silverstream show team.

DESCRIPTION

Silverstream Neverland is out of a grey mother by a grey sire. Her fleece is a very unusual tweed almost roan colour and very soft.

DESCRIPTION

Noir Nuit grows a long fleece length and has a very even crimp throughout her fleece. The fleece is lustrous and has a soft handle. She is a well grown female who is a quiet member of the herd and is easy to handle.

Noir Nuit gave birth to her first cria in April 2016 without difficulty and she is a good mother. Her cria, a solid grey male, is very even in colour and has grown out well. The covering sire for her latest pregnancy, Greenwood Greylord is an imported sire from Victoria - he is a beautiful medium grey with absolutely no spots.
